Privacy Policy

The short version.

SyncVybe is a public place to share unfinished projects and get help. Most of what you post is public by design. We collect the minimum needed to run the platform, we don't sell your data, and you can ask us to delete your account any time.

What we collect.

• Account. when you sign in with Google or GitHub, we receive your email address, name, and profile photo from that provider.
• Your profile. the username, display name, bio, avatar, cover image, and showcase pieces you choose to add.
• Content you post. projects, stuck points, threads, comments, direct messages, and images you upload.
• Payment info. handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number; Stripe does. We only charge you for your own purchases from SyncVybe (Pro, Boost, AI credits).
• Technical. your login session and basic server logs needed to keep the service running and secure.

How we use it. including AI.

• To run the platform: sign-in, your profile, the feed, threads, and notifications.
• AI features. When you ask for an AI completion estimate or an AI draft, the text you submit (your project description, stuck point, and related input) is sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate that response. Don't paste secrets, credentials, or confidential material into these fields.
• To process your own SyncVybe purchases (Pro, Boost, AI credits) through Stripe.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we don't use it for advertising.

Who we share it with.

We rely on a few trusted providers to run SyncVybe. Your data passes through them only as needed:

• Supabase. database, authentication, file storage, hosting.
• Anthropic. receives the content you submit for AI diagnosis / drafting.
• Stripe. payments for your SyncVybe purchases (Pro, Boost, AI credits).
• Google / GitHub. whichever sign-in provider you choose.
• Vercel. application hosting and CDN.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Public by default.

Your projects, threads, comments, showcase, profile, and rankings are public — visible to anyone, including search engines and AI crawlers. Direct messages are private to you and the other participant. Don't post anything you can't afford to have seen, copied, or indexed. see our Terms & Disclaimer.

Payments.

We only charge you for your own purchases from SyncVybe. a Pro subscription, Boost, or AI credits. processed by Stripe. SyncVybe never holds or routes payments between users, and does not operate escrow. Stripe's own privacy terms govern how they handle your payment data.

Cookies & sessions.

We use a login session stored in your browser to keep you signed in. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Keeping & deleting your data.

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete your account. and the content tied to it. by emailing hello@syncvybe.com. Some records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, payment records for tax and accounting).

Your rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email hello@syncvybe.com.

Children.

SyncVybe is not intended for anyone under 16. Please don't use it if you're younger than that.

Changes to this policy.

If we change this policy materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app.
